Breakfast Berry Crunch Cups

Makes four servings
  • 4 slices Nature's Pride® Country White bread
  • 1 tablespoon light butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup vanilla or flavored low-fat yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons nutlike cereal nuggets
  • 4 strawberries, sliced

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

Cut crusts from bread and flatten with a rolling pin. Trim corners from each slice to make a circle. Lightly brush muffin pan with melted butter. Press each slice of bread into a muffin cup, forming it into a bowl shape. Repeat three additional times to make a total of four bread cups. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly.

Spoon 1 tablespoon yogurt into each baked bread cup. Sprinkle tops evenly with cereal nuggets and top with strawberries.

Tip: Substitute blueberries, raspberries, blackberries or a combination for strawberries. One common brand of nutlike cereal nuggets is Grape Nuts; if desired substitute granola or other favorite cereal.
