Every great meal deserves to be followed by an incredible dessert. And when Nature's Pride Bread is in the mix, desserts go from incredible to simply divine. Try these recipes from Nature's Pride and they're sure to become some of your favorites.

Honey Peach Cobbler

Honey Peach Cobbler

Makes six to eight servings
  • 4 slices Nature's Pride® Country White bread
  • 2 packages (16 ounces each) frozen, sliced, unsweetened peaches, partially thawed
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, divided
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1/4 cup egg substitute (or 1 egg, lightly beaten)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup toasted almonds

Preheat oven to 375° F. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray coating. Place peaches in baking dish. Sprinkle with cornstarch and toss gently to combine. Drizzle peaches with honey and sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Set aside.

Combine milk, egg substitute (or egg), 2 tablespoons sugar and vanilla; whisk to combine. Cut each bread slice into fourths. With tongs, pick up a quarter piece of bread, and dip in milk mixture, turning to coat evenly. Arrange bread pieces in an even, single layer over fruit. Discard any remaining milk mixture.

Combine remaining sugar, remaining cinnamon and toasted almonds; sprinkle evenly over bread. Bake, uncovered, until golden brown and peaches are tender, about 30 minutes. Serve warm.

Tip: to toast almonds, place almonds in a baking dish. Bake at 375°F for 5 to 7 minutes or until lightly toasted.
