Pimento Cheese Sandwiches
Makes four servings
- 8 slices Nature's Pride® Country White bread
- 2 cups shredded 2% Cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons finely minced onion
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 jar (4 ounces) chopped pimentos, do not drain
- 3 heaping tablespoons light mayonnaise
- Dash salt
Place all ingredients, except bread, in a medium mixing bowl. Beat at medium-high speed with electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Spread approximately 1/2 cup pimento cheese on each of four slices of Nature’s Pride Country White Bread. Top with remaining bread slices. Cut in half and serve.
Tip: For tea sandwiches, remove crusts from Nature’s Pride Country White Bread and spread pimento cheese spread onto bread. Cut each sandwich into fourths.
