Snacks should not only be nutritious, but they should taste amazing, too. Here are some recipes that will satisfy your between-meal cravings, all with the healthy goodness of Nature’s Pride™.
Tomato Avocado Snack Points
Makes 4 snack servings; 2 toast points each
- 2 slices Nature's Pride® 12 Grain bread, toasted
- 1 medium avocado, peeled, pitted and mashed
- 1/4 cup shredded 2% Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tomatoes slices, cut in half
Combine avocado, cheese, hot pepper sauce, salt and pepper. Divide and spread evenly over toasted bread. Cut bread into fourths, diagonally. (Using a serrated knife will make slicing easier.) Place tomato slices on top of each toast point.
